Maggie Barber began her yoga journey when she moved to California in 2012 for college. She was drawn to hot yoga for building strength and endurance physically and mentally. She realized that the power of yoga could relieve the stress of school and help accept family loss. From there she ignited a process of healing herself. She received a 200-hour Hatha and Vinyasa certification in San Diego November 2017 by two wonderful teachers with a strong yoga foundation with background in chiropractic and massage. Paddle-board yoga is her favorite way to practice; however, now living in New York she is discovering a new passion for aerial yoga. She believes that yoga is the unifying source of the mind, body, and soul. It is a wonderful healing modality that anybody can participate in. Maggie is a free spirited, fun loving teacher and student of life.
